After a slight pause in development of our real time balances program (to allow for some other new and very exciting features to be brought to life – keep your eyes peeled), Agrolending are thrilled to announce the latest change to our real time schedule – real time quoting!
Real time quoting allows customers the ability to request a quote for items such as final repayments (to pay out the loan) and provides this information within seconds upon approval of the repayment. This is an extremely exciting development in Agrolending as it brings yet another process into real time. Previously, the batch job would have had to run in order to produce the quoted figures. With the introduction of real time quoting this delay is removed with the quoted repayment being made available almost immediately.
The process:
Customers create the repayment as they always would have
Utilising the Approval process in place, customers move the repayment to Approved
Once Approved (either manually or via the submit for approval button) the system will quote the repayment as at the date outlined on the repayment
In the example below the customer has requested a quote on what the final repayment will be as at the end of October 2024. The repayment was moved from a status of New to Approved via the Approval process in place, and the system automatically quoted the repayment based on the current figures in the system in a matter of seconds.
This new and exciting development has been rolled out to most customers already, with only a couple of customers not ready to move forward with this development at this stage. By 2025 we envisage that every customer as well as new customers will instantly have access to real time quoting.

As we continue to introduce new features, customer communication and feedback is paramount. If you experience any difficulties with any of the real-time repayments processes outlined above or in previous correspondence, if you receive an error that you should not be experiencing, or if it simply doesn’t function as it should per the description in the release notes, we request customers to raise a support ticket immediately. It is only with actual real-time use of the system that we are going to be able to iron out any of the creases. Please rest assured that we have also enabled additional background monitoring to catch issues as they may arise.
